Hi there! I'm Emma, the owner of Toad Trove TCG, and I’ve been selling Pokémon cards online since July 2024.
But of course, not everyone has the time and energy to do that especially if you have family, work, and other commitments, so the quicker alternative is to slap it all in a box and send it to someone else to deal with. Out of site out of mind, as they say.
I always aim to cater to both collectors and players of the trading card game. What I've always loved about Pokemon is that it's really a game for people of all ages, genders, and all walks of life. I was severely bullied in secondary school and video games were a huge part of my escape.

In July 2024 I started out reorganising my childhood binder of vintage cards, and at the same time decided to get back into the TCG. Even after buying one ETB and a few booster packs I racked up a lot of bulk very quickly, so I turned to sell my bulk on Cardmarket. I enjoyed it so much that I continued to expand and gere we are now, over a year later, running my own business from home.
I’m always 100% transparent about what I do - I buy out unwanted Pokémon bulk and resell them as singles at a profit. I’m always open and happy to share advice on how to do this yourself - if you have the time and energy and a load of bulk lying around, I highly recommend selling them as singles. I also hope to post some guides on the website in the near future!
